Barangay Intervention at Barangay Alambre, Toril District, Davao City

One of the strategies for an organization is to have a clear vision with other agencies in implementing programs. On behalf of the Acting Provincial Training Center-Davao Administrator Engineer Sammy S. Cameros, Admin Officer Lilia P. Lim, SMAW NC I Trainer Albert R. Acosta, PV NC II Trainer Patrick John L. Zapanta, EIM NC II Trainer Froilan Divino initiates to link with Barangay Kagawad Edna D. Roales to discuss the Executive Order 70 series 2020 institutionalizing the Whole-of-the-Nation Approach (WONA) in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace, creating a national task force to end local communist armed conflict, and directing the adoption of a national peace framework by identifying the priority barangay in each district of Davao City.

Last November 11, 2020, on behalf of Engr. Cameros, PTC–Davao Staff coordinated with Kagawad Edna D. Roales to discuss possible training interventions and provide a list of available training programs the center can offer under its Scholarship Program.

Necessary details about the program were all discussed. Both parties promoted the course and agreed with it. In the same way, the event strengthened the interest of both parties to implement the program.

City Health Office conducts Anti - Flu Vaccination

An annual anti-flu vaccine is the best way to help protect against flu. Vaccination has been shown to have many benefits, including reducing the risk of flu illnesses, hospitalizations, and even the risk of flu-related death in children. Vaccines have reduced the risks of getting a disease by working with your body’s natural defenses to build protection. When you get a vaccine, your immune system responds.

In partnership with Davao City Health, TESDA Provincial seized the occasion for the annual flu vaccine.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends annual influenza vaccination for everyone age 6 months or older. In where the vaccination is important for people at high risk of influenza complications.

Kim Dalipe RN, under the leadership of Dr. Josephine Villafuerte, successfully accomplished the activity last November 06, 2020, at the Provincial Training Center - Davao. A total of 52 individuals, including PTC Davao staff, trainers, and trainees, were the target beneficiaries of the activity.
